THE VISITATION OF HEREFORDSHIRE 1569 (Ref 091) by Robert Cooke  edited by Frederick William Weaver The   Visitation   was   a   tour   of   inspection   to   establish   the   right   of   a   person   to   bear   arms.   These   visits usually   took   place   at   the   end   of   the   16 th    century   and   during   the   17 th    century,   with   number   of   counties having   more   than   one.   This   one   in   this   publication   was   for   1569   of   Herefordshire   and   contains   over eighty   pedigrees. At   the   end   of   the   book   there   are   a   further   thirty   one   pedigrees   that   were   added   by R. Mundy.
